What our Parents & Students say

“There are so many opportunities for my kids – the Math Olympiads, MUN and recently they hosted NASA, along with concerts, drama productions and much more. The teachers, leadership and superintendent to the principal’s of each division and the deputies are so approachable. They will stop and have a conversation about my children at any point. I know most people say, the teachers really care about the children but I have never seen the level of genuine concern and care for their wellbeing as I have in the leadership in this school.”

Mangla Sachdev

“A wonderful environment coupled with a dedicated team of infant care teachers give Elisha the perfect conditions to grow up. She has settled in so well since she arrived at the center at the age of 5 months much to the efforts by all the teachers. Heartfelt appreciation for all the love and care showered on our little angel.”

Joshua Wong

“I will miss the community that SAIS provides, such as an open and international environment, in which all students and teachers are welcomed. A life lesson that I will carry with me is that Stamford taught me to be open-minded and has given me a great appreciation for many cultures. Having the option of multiple academic pathways, provided me with the choice of what I want to study, which allowed me to choose which pathway would be best for the countries that I was planning on applying for universities.”

Jenna Leas, Class of 2020 graduate

“I joined Stamford American back in 2013, as a first grader. Stamford American has definitely helped me to build the skills I need to be successful in the future. The teachers have guided us to be confident decision-makers and equipped us with the knowledge we need to head off onto our different paths.

The inclusive environment Stamford American offers has taught me to be more understanding and open-minded about people’s differences and to appreciate the value they bring to our lives.

I have made friends from all over the world and they have had a huge impact on me during my time here. They have taught me to be resilient with the many departures, and the importance of communication to stay in touch. I will definitely miss coming to school and seeing everyone each day.”

Ryan Windebank, Class of 2024
